Enough of the cold dreary winter and the gloomy sleet and snow. We need Spring to be here already paving the way for a gorgeous summer. Warm weather makes everyone so much happier. It is amazing how all your friends come out of the woodworks. The days get longer – the cafe’s spill onto the streets – we enjoy yummy drinks over casual conversation on those long Sunday afternoons. When I took these pictures above they reminded me of the leisurely Summer evenings ahead of me. They say that looking forward to something is almost as good as experiencing it.

I agree about loving the first signs of spring after winter. You can shed all the layers. Here is Bombay in March, as you know, we'd like some of that cold.

What is the dish you have photographed?
Spring is something I have never experienced here in Mumbai...I wish I could experience it once.
Just this week I read a lovely article by an Uzbek journalist who spent a few years in Mumbai about spring in Tashkent, a city which has been destroyed in many ways, but whose spring still makes it worth it.
Juhi - the dish on the link is a Frittata and the one on the blog are yummy olives. A Frittata is a kind of italian omelette; like an omelette but thicker.
